Skills:
- Able to use
Quality Center at an user level.
- Understanding
of all the navigations and features in QC.
- Ability to
use QC as a Test management tool.
- Ability to
create test cases, create test plan and import/export requirements.
- Ability to
execute test cases
- Should have
an excellent communication skills
- Should have
a minimum 3 years experience of working in different OSS/BSS applications
as a test engineer
- Knowledge of
Rational Test Manager and Clear quest is preferred
- Should have
a good knowledge on any of CRM applications
- Should have
sound knowledge on testing fundamentals

- Primary

Detailed Roles
& Responsibilities:
- Preparation
of Scenario, Test Cases & Test Data, Test Execution, Defect
identification & logging.
- Take bottom line responsibility for
timely and high-quality execution of testing projects
- Define test scope, estimates and
timelines and overall test strategy
- Create test strategy from test
requirements, review effort estimates for project execution Project
planning, tracking and status reporting
- Motivate and mentor team members
- Participate in proposal design,
pre-sales activities and client presentations
Participate in PU-wide activities like test
process / methodology definitions / enhancements, building a Body of Knowledge,
etc interfacing with the client/offshore/onsite teams
Note: The candidate needs to have: Experience in
Automation Testing. Experience in at least one Testing Tool - QTP, Quality
Center, Win runner, Rational Robo, Clear quest, Borland Silk test, and Rational
Team test. |
