Overview
As a business development executive, you’ll ensure alignment between business goals and strategic implementation by collaborating closely with stakeholders. Your role involves generating and nurturing leads, acquiring clients, and serving as a communication liaison between sales and account management teams. Your dedication to continuous improvement will drive departmental efficiency and inform strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Sales:
- Identify target markets and generate leads accordingly.
- Develop a pipeline of potential clients and nurture them till closure.
Client Acquisition:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with current and potential clients, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Take continuous feedback from existing clients.
- Upsell and cross-sell digital services to increase client engagement.
Reporting:
- Provide regular reports to the Reporting Manager to monitor the status of open leads and closures.
- Provide regular reports to upper management on the progress of business development initiatives and the overall performance for the month.
CRM:
- Maintain relationships with ongoing and potential clients for cross and up-sale opportunities.
- Oversee client accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and building long-term relationships with clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree: In a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, or related disciplines.
- Proven Experience: 1 to 2 Years of Experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition within the digital industry.
- 3. Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in digital business development.
Measurable Results:
- Achieve sales targets by bringing in a specified number of new clients.
- Generate a pipeline of qualified leads ten times the target revenue.
- Submit monthly internal and external reports on time.
Standards to Meet:
- 80% proposal to closure ratio.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to achieve a specified number of leads per month.
